There is a reason I'm leaving 135 again! I recently interviewed and was offered the CQFO position. You guys will do fine. 121 is fantastic and much easier than the 135 world. They are just looking for mostly sane people lol.

Default western flying

Any truth to what I heard that TSA (and gojet) will be expanding their operations and doing much more western flying?
I know, rumors are just that lol

Friend of mine just got hired for the 2/9 class and had heard this.

I asked this question at the interview and they had no news of this but believed they will remain a mostly East coast and Midwest airline. Skywest, Compass, and Mesa pretty much have the west coast locked up but who knows. It could look much more feasible when/if the MRJs arrive.

The airline profile states that the DEN base will open in April. Is that written is stone or a rumor? Also, will it be where new hires go? I understand a lot of it is hearsay. Thank you

April to May for Denver. Flights will begin in March I believe. New hires should have a choice out of training for their base. The top 5-10 captains and FOs will Be very senior in Denver but it will be anyone's choice below that as there aren't many pilots commuting from the west. This is what I was told today at least.

When you say "New hires should have a choice out of training" would that go for any base? What are the chances of ORD going senior?
