I haven't found an MOU but the iPad will be more locked down than the Samsung Galaxy Tab. You cannot put anything on it and can only use the company apps and browse the internet. Just don't look at any inappropriate websites and you probably shouldn't even check your facebook or email. I am a lot less concerned here than when I was at RAH about not having any contract protection.
Just to reiterate for everyone's edification, you are put in CASS and KCM in your first week at Trans States. BTW, Nevets the info you pulled from that thread was from 2007 and TSA ratified a new contract in 2011. (Feeding the troll.) Also, TSA's payscale must be above average as well because it is higher than or even with ExpressJet's 145 & 200 scale.

I am slightly concerned by the language that says they can assign duty during the original calendar days you were displaced from. If I understand correctly does that mean a commuter who has a trip that ends perhaps at say 1500h can be assigned a trip that ends at 2359h?

I agree. I'm pretty sure it has to fall within the footprint of the original trip. The same can be said for the show time. It can't start earlier.

I was just going to ask what was all said during the employee call-in since I was working... Please tell me we are not looking at LaGuardia as a domicile for the American flying?

The 15 will be based out of LGA. The company is not excited about it. I may have heard wrong but I thought he mentioned it being staffed out of STL, since we'll be flying STL-LGA flights.

AA flying now out of LGA not DCA. (This apparently just changed. They were told to expect DCA just as the rumors were flying around)
The AA flying is now set to begin in May with the bringing on of the first two AA frames. (This is against what the MEMO said with regards to beginning in April)
They are still looking at whether or not they'll base LGA. They're looking at trying to staff it through STL
Big MX presence for United in SDF with contracted Compass MX. We're set to have three airplanes there a night (ORD,DEN, and IAD)
Progress on headset approval is well underway according to KS. Waiting on FAA letter signing due within a week's time.
More growth available to TSA if we can pull off the current growth from United
Remember the MRJ's - speculation etc early deliveries blah blah
Better FA schedule utilization is apparently indicating that we are now overstaffed with FA's and there's no reason to think otherwise. Apparently there are no foreseeable issues with FA staffing
DEN Base opening firm date still not confirmed. Flts/day confirmed however starting with 6flts/day in March. 9 in April-June and 12 starting May.
Expect differences training for the XR's via LMS very shortly (1st quarter 2015)
NAVTEC PBS is being discussed and tailored to our needs. More coming on that in the future.
