1.A pilot who is displaced from his scheduled trip by a management or training pilot shall be released and credited for the value of the flight(s) from which he is displaced.

2. A pilot who is removed from a trip so IOE or SLF may be completed shall either be released or assigned other duty for a period not to exceed the calendar day(s) of his originally scheduled release time. The pilot must be given such assignment (not reserve) no later than his originally scheduled report time and the pilot must be released from such other duty no later than the first transit of his domicile, after his originally scheduled release time. If the reassignment is for fewer days than the original trip, he may be assigned duty (not reserve) for the subsequent days at any time prior to being released from the first reassignment. Such pilot will be paid and credited the greater of his scheduled trip or his reassigned trip.

I haven't found an MOU but the iPad will be more locked down than the Samsung Galaxy Tab. You cannot put anything on it and can only use the company apps and browse the internet. Just don't look at any inappropriate websites and you probably shouldn't even check your facebook or email. I am a lot less concerned here than when I was at RAH about not having any contract protection.

Just to reiterate for everyone's edification, you are put in CASS and KCM in your first week at Trans States. BTW, Nevets the info you pulled from that thread was from 2007 and TSA ratified a new contract in 2011. (Feeding the troll.) Also, TSA's payscale must be above average as well because it is higher than or even with ExpressJet's 145 & 200 scale.

Nevets is not a XJT recruiter. I can promise you that, he is a regular line pilot for XJT.

Nevets. TSA is not getting XJT airplanes. We are getting United airplanes that United had previously given to XJT.

Go suck a duck.

So, you are claiming that XJT owns or holds the leases on the planes at the same time that TSA will be flying them?

What makes them XJT's?

You XJT pilots sure got a lot a sand in your panties.

You need to understand that no flying belongs to anyone at the regionals. TSA is no more taking XJT planes than XJT is taking Envoy planes.

Company provides the ipads. We just opened the training course and have to complete by Jan 15. Ipads distributed to each pilot upon completion of course. Mounts will be in the airplanes. I imagine we will start using them live sometime after January 15.
