Thanks for the clarification!

With the way Gojet is struggling to staff, they'll be lucky to hang on to what they have....

I know that's what the contract says but I higly doubt we get just 10 airplanes.. The amount of time and money spent to get a training program and certification for a new aircraft type doesn't justify only to airplanes to TSA and developing an entirely different training program and certification for a couple more airplanes at go jet.. Wasting money isn't uncle hulas'a deal.

Yeah seems odd TSA would setup a program to only take ten of the jets.
Edit: what timma said

Anyone got any numbers on the latest class sizes, and also upgrades? What's it down to now, how many vacancy, and where?

Looks like 8 upgrades in Jan. All gonna be IAD based.

Look back a page or two. I think someone else posted it. Most junior in that class right now is a June 2013 hire. They should be running classes of 8, from what I'm told, for awhile. The mixed with the CQFO's should be a good head start on the growth.

The upgrade time will continue to drop as many guys don't have the time.

It would probably be best to wait until the airplane can fly

With the upcoming airplane deliveries and additional flying, curious to see how long Junior Captains will be on reserve or at least to get a build up line. I was also told 8 upgrades per month so that sounds like a pretty solid number but always subject to change. It sounds like more specific information related to the American side of the growth will be discussed during the employee call next week. Latest I've heard running around the rumor mill was an DCA/IAD co-base but we shall see. Tailwinds!
