It stands to reason that to be hired as a CQFO, you have to be Captain Qualified which means you have to have the hours. TSA is going to hire regular ole FO's too you know.

Actually you would just bid upgrade at that time and if any CQFOs are on property you would immediately get CA pay even in the right seat. We have actually really good pay protection in our "crappy contract".

Sorry to burst your bubble but there is no catch or real downside to comming to TSA right now.

Only upgrades for January in Dulles?! Glad I didn't put that down as an option. Are there going to be 2 classes or is Denver not going to open staffed.

I heard 8/month for our current guys that are qualified, and that will pretty much run out in the spring. 6/13 is the most junior, and that will continue to fall, quickly.

I didnt say 2300 guys were doing it. I said I've heard of a few guys talking about it. I know of 3 in the past week. All I was saying is their views toward TSA directly resembles what a dozen or so more are saying on here, and it gets old. I'm sure the chief pilot would love a diversion into Sandusky, Ohio because the "jumpseater was talking bad about TSA".

Most the stuff I have read on here has not bad mouthed your pilots. I have had you guys on my Jumpseat before and you all seem like good guys. I have seen guys talk bad about your contract and management, but not the pilot group as a whole. Also like I said get their names and out them. That what I would do if someone was a d!ck on my jumpseat. Most of us our in the same position we came to the regionals to get time and move on.
