As far as COEX, the analogy is still accurate. You still have pilots flying formerly mainline routes for a fraction of the pay. How it got there doesn't matter because now you're a 3rd party subcontractors just like everyone else.

Contemplate whether the always present risks that all regionals are susceptible to vs. the benefit of a VERY strong possibility of earning $62.91/hr and make the choice.
No strings attached. If all goes perfect, the first 50 or so CQFO's won't see the right seat pay ever. Straight from director of Flt ops' mouth is that each month you will be told whether you are to bid on the CA side for the month or FO. If CA, you make the $63/hr gurantee minimum for the entire month regardless of seat your in. If you bid on the FO side, you get the $44 with the additional $19 when in left seat. The later you get in, the more chance you'll bid FO for the month; but TSA certainly ain't going to pay a new hire 44/hr unless they plan on using you in the left seat out of necessity. Reserves in your future? Probably. But a fleet confirmed to be going from 30 planes to 72 in the next 14 months... Do the math on that.
So please! Leave your failing airline for one that is getting your broke az z planes that will only last another 5 years before they are gone! Please! Pretty please! Come on guys I need to upgrade and get something out of this crappy airline I am at!

As much as I hate PSA for what they did, they are MUCH better deal than this reject idea. Compass even better. This is designed to screw over the lateral moving FOs and that's it.

How, other than being a bad for you, is this a bad deal?

First off you'll be hard pressed to actually get the pilots you need, especially when you can't bait them in with an instant or quick upgrade - ask PSA(There is a reason they got the 47 CRJs at the time they did for a reason).

Then let's go with the fact that the airplanes you are taking are only good for 5 years or less. If you Mickey mouse them like the last set Eagle have you, I am gonna say A LOT less. So going to TSA, even for the quick upgrade folks, is a 5 year band aid, AT BEST. If you join on the tail end, it is ludicrous.

Kermit the Frog called. He'd like the color green back please.

But you're right. After 5 years, management plans to park all the airplanes and close the doors. I talked to the President of TSH and asked why. He said because I hate all pilots and want to ruin their lives, profits be da××ed. Death to the airline! Off with it's head!

(EDIT) I see you decided to change your post after the fact. Classy.

I present logical conclusions and you presume to know my position.

I am far from jealous kiddo. I just care about my FOs and don't want to see them leave one bad situation for another. Make no mistake, your deal is wrought with some of the highest risk out there, to fly old broke airplanes.

Hey old man. Do your FOs a favor and retire or move on. Then they wouldn't be forced to jump ship because they've made $40 an hour for the last 5 years with no end in sight.

So I should retire to help my fellow FO but ruin my life, and more imortantly, my family's? Great idea! Let's all do that to help others. You should bail too!

You can't claim to care about them when it benefits you and then not care about them when it would inconvenience you. That's called being contradictory. Come back with a better argument that isn't clearly "don't leave because, well, what about me. "

The first over 100 pilots will be Captains in less than a year. Why should anyone on TSA property bail? They'll be the same "rank" as you in 9 months. Every. Single. One.

Fixed it for ya.
Whether an FO goes to Trans States or not does not affect me at all. Not. One. Single. Bit.

I will indeed be retiring soon. Asking me to go early is the very selfishness you accuse me of. Do you know me or my situation? Obviously I never intended to retire from a regional airline. Beyond that, I assure you, I paid my dues to be here, and then some.
