The company is only going to hire enough CQFOs so they have sufficient Captains to operate the aircraft. Most CQFOS will be able to hold a regular Captain bid before long. Keep in mind the size of the company is going to double with these aircraft. If the other flying that is rumored to be out there comes true, the size of the company is going to triple. So iti is very possible some of these CQFOs will hold lines as well.

There are a lot of FOs that have been warming that seat for a while now. All you need is 1500 more to upgrade if you came in with 1500. You can easily do that in two years. They might not right now but I'm betting by early next, mid, late next year many will have the time

We have a lot of FOs that do not meet the requirements for CA, and will not for a while.
And they will be sitting reserve for a long time as your fo's upgrade and bump them down in seniority. Not worth it!

If you come from that kind of seniority you're going to be in for a rude awakening at reserve life at Tsa. Just saying.

Not really when you figure the company is about to triple in size.

Only if they can staff they flying... Big IF when everybody else is hiring.

By the way, is it true that CQFO can be downgraded to regular FO if there are enough CAs?

If there are enough regular Captains then CQFOs fly as FOs at the blended pay rate which is around $48 an hour.

With the amount of guys I saw them interviewing last week from Envoy, ExpressJet, and Endeavor staffing ain't gonna be a problem.
