The company is only going to hire enough CQFOs so they have sufficient Captains to operate the aircraft. Most CQFOS will be able to hold a regular Captain bid before long. Keep in mind the size of the company is going to double with these aircraft. If the other flying that is rumored to be out there comes true, the size of the company is going to triple. So iti is very possible some of these CQFOs will hold lines as well.

There are a lot of FOs that have been warming that seat for a while now. All you need is 1500 more to upgrade if you came in with 1500. You can easily do that in two years. They might not right now but I'm betting by early next, mid, late next year many will have the time

Maybe if you're a Captain, but if you're an FO it is because when in the right seat you will be paid a blended rate which is more than any other regional carrier pays FOs currently. Also for those that get in at the beginning, there will be the opportunity to put in a regular bid for Captain and once awarded you will not be able to be displaced to the right seat. We have a lot of FOs that do not meet the requirements for CA, and will not for a while.
