So do you experienced TSA guys think that this CQFO program is merely a way for the company to offer CBA approved pay increases to F/O's to drive up the number of applicant vs. any real possibility of a rapid upgrade?
My niece is considering leaving RAH for this and tells me she received an email from a recruiter saying the CQFO rates are contractually binding. Is that true?
I may be an old crazy man with view some of ya'll don't care for but I'm just trying to make sure the young lady I raised makes good decisions. So I'd love some insight from you guys as to whether or not she should risk this.

Can anyone post the CBA language regarding the CQFO? Or give a link to the full CBA?

Tell her to hop on it cause 200 other people stuck at FO with no upgrade in sight would gladly take the deal. Even if they just end up earning 44/hr as FO.

So is CQFO essentially offering new hire pilots with the upgrade minimums captain pay as first officers?
Heres a thought, what about lowering the upgrade minimums first so those of us who have already been on property for over a year and a half and have company expirence can upgrade before you start handing new hire fo's captain pay??
If we need to offer deals like cqfo for staffing cause god knows with our fleet nearly tripling we need something I understand but lets not alienate our current employees in the process. I cant be the only fo whos been here a year and a half or more that thinks this way.

Every other industry on Earth pays based on experience--airlines of all places should be the same way.
