I just had to look that word up. The fact that you use it says something about you. My life's pretty damn good though. Thanks.

It's obvious the pilot group as a whole is better off without you. Grow up. Move on down the line and stop 'contributing' to this thread.

I disagree. The pilot group would probly be better off with 100 of me. I'll contribute to this thread as much as I darn well please. I'm sorry if what I say doesn't jive with what your company is selling.

No one cares how good you were at your last jobs. Fact is, you didn't stand up for yourself, you violated your contract. I'm not a supporter of some of the techniques regional airlines use, but i voluntarily signed a contract and will follow it or voluntarily find another job. Flying for any airline and just following the simple rules that go with it is the easiest job I've ever had. I can't help that you felt entitled. Sounds like a personal problem. If you wanted it changed, true change, instead of trying to fight the system outside of your contract, you could have joined the union and tried to change things the right way..instead you acted like a toddler.

You don't know the circumstances leading up to my violating the contract. And while I agree, joining the union is one way to try and make it better, more often than not, these companies use that railway act to hold us hostage for years with bad contracts, and drag negotiations out instead of negotiating in good faith.
That being said, my issue is with the hiring practices. And I abided by that contract, often spending money to abide by it, until one day they just got unreasonable and I said enough.
But they are counting on people to shut upp and take it and that's why they get away with what they do.

It must be exhausting to carry this much baggage around as long as you have. Let it go man. Just let it go.

Well, maybe you got in when they first got the 18 jets, in which case it worked out. What I was told, and a bunch of people hired around the same time as me, was way off. And it didn't take long to figure out it was going to be way off.
