How is the training at TSA these days and is it possible to get ORD out of training? Thanks!

Training isn't hard. New hires are being sent to ord right out of training so not hard to hold at all. What they do with the aircraft depends on the lease on them. I'm sure they'll try to do some at risk flying for cheap. Otherwise moth ball or fly them as spares.

What about the reserve, is it a few months only? One more thing, who does the training, is it in the house or FSI? Thanks again.

Unless there is a massive attrition or upgrades. You'll probably be on reserve for awhile. When I did my sim I had a fsi instructor but she was former TSA captain. My other buddies had TSA instructors, so really a mix of instructors. Looking at my aqp training I have a TSA instructor.

Gojet is the same way. We use a mix of Flight Safety and company instructors.
FSI is a very nice facility.
