You were there for 6 months and still on probation. How could any promises get fulfilled...other than you were flying on reserve. I'm sure there are guys at other regionals who've been on reserve a lot longer and would like to fly a little. If the company who is signing your checks tells you that you have to do something within your contract, do it. No one owes you anything. Literally no one.

Never said they owed me anything, couldn't care less what other guys are doing. Not bashing the company, no worse than any other regional better than a couple. The pay was crap have other opportunities in and out of aviation, so I took my chances. You like the regional life at that pay take it there's another line open.

Sounds like they finally made an example out of someone. I've heard guys doing worse things during their probation that are still here.

And that's why they can get away with paying a ****ty wages, crappy schedules and horrible reserve rules. Again not just trans states but the entire regional industry in general

A lot of airlines won't let you commute to where you actually start flying if you're on reserve. Scheduling is more flexible with line-holders in this situation.

Sorry to hear you lost your job over this. Good luck to you and your family in the future.

Thanks, we'll be fine. Already have another job lined up, and I get to spend the holidays with the kids. Can't complain.

So when you went down to IAH did they actually change your schedule and call you to have you do something different from out of STL?
