Well... In my 6 months, Lost a tablet my first trip, LIMO'd myself to Houston, had one sick call, and couldn't get on my commute yesterday. I had it coming. Just a little ticked they didn't let me resign. But whatever.

what does "LIMO'd myself to Houston" mean?

You don't have a commuter clause in your contract?

-and- 1 Sick call??? Dang... LIMO'd must be pretty bad haha

They gave me a trip on reserve that started with a dead head from STL to IAH. I live in phx and had to fix the wife's car the two days before (she's in college and has our kids) so I asked scheduling if I can just pick it up in Houston and they said no. Well it's 700 to pay someone to fix it so I just went to Houston anyways. My fault but I felt it should've been approved.

They call it probation for a reason. Just curious as to why you went through all the hard work to get there, through training and OE and then just threw it all away?

Yup, so they can fire pilots that don't want to put up with regional airline bs.

Well man you know what the say...four strikes and you're out. Anyway consider yourself lucky...they've fired a lot more for a lot less.

How is requiring you to start your reserve trip in base BS? You're on reserve, ever been rescheduled? Happens alot on reserve, they could have had you operate a flight out of STL instead... Plans change.

Possible, but unlikely. Again not saying I'm right but for what they were paying me, they were just to inflexible. I'm not going to drop 700 just to go sit reserve for 2 hours for a maybe, and make nothing. That's just me, and that's y I don't work there be more. Besides, it's the pay that's b.s.

I consider myself lucky because I'm out I hated regionals should've quit earlier
