Im talking about people getting hired this past July. They very well could upgrade Jan 2015. He's worried about people getting hired right now, not longevity of current guys. And the front of this wave that I was referring to has passed IMO BUT getting on now I would say 2-2.5, still way better than anywhere else!

3.5 years might be long for CPZ, but at XJT 5-6 years is best case scenario. Thanks for the info, trying to make an educated decision here...giving up 1 year seniority and doing year 1 again isn't a choice I'm taking lightly

I've moved up 23 spots since Jan 13. When I interviewed last year, they said the company expected to lose up to 20/month once all the legacies were hiring which will occur by next January. There was practically no one on the seniority list from late 07 to mid 2012. Qualified guys from January 2013 classes are upgrading in the next class. Since Jan 13 the company has hired a lot of furloughed cargo guys with 121 and heavy time so they probably will not be around long once the hiring wave starts. We've already lost some of these guys.

TSA has hired several Comair guys that have improved the QOL here dramatically. DO is a good guy and has done a lot for the company and the pilot group. I've been here since December and have enjoyed working here so far.

Looks like we are getting some kind of deal to move on to United and something should be announced soon. Rumors of more/larger aircraft persist but nothing official has been announced. But we are continue to hire and upgrade even though we are fully staffed, so something is up.

To the right of the QUOTE button is a "+ button. It's a multi quote function. Hit that button for each post you want to quote, except the last quote. Use the QUOTE button for the last post you choose to quote.

to try and quote your entire last post (including my post that you quoted) i tried clicking that and then quote and it didn't work, it only quotes the part that you typed not the part you quoted. I've see other people quote (for example) your entire last post, #3627, with both the text you typed and what you quoted

This. KS is a class act. Especially compared to his predecessor. I'd have no problem calling him up with a concern. (That's a huge improvement for TSA). I wouldn't necessarily go so far as to say it's now a "good place to work" but it's a hell of a lot better than it was a few years ago.

I'm doing it on my phone, so I just tap the post, then tap "quote" and what ever is quoted shows up... Pretty easy on the phone....
