If you take the Metro from DCA, do you have to ride the bus to the terminal or is it conected to the IAD terminal?

Please pardon my ignorance, but why is upgrade time so short??
It's not growth is it? Is it all hi attrition??
Thanks

Upgrade time is short because we expanded our fleet size by 1/3. Doing the DCA thing takes about 1.5 hours on average. The new CP hasn't been around for more than a few days. He was assistant CP in IAD before. If you're senior the trips are productive.

200% pay gone because we are "properly" staffed. Lol....I have yet to see greater than 0% rsv coverage in flica requests this month.

You have no idea how TSA works. Suspensions get handed out for ridiculous reasons all of the time. And I read somewhere else that it was a "home made" headset. Thats a new one to me. It was actually a DC headset, but different model number so poof 30 day suspension.
The way this started is a fed in the STL FSDO (not our POI) read something and realized that the test pilots in Brazil wore DC xxx headsets. Since those were the only headsets used in test flights he decided that those were the only ones that TSA could use. TSA has been fighting this for a while, but honestly always have bigger fish to fry.
I spent a decade at TSA. I can tell you that guys HAVE been suspended for crazier reasons. Should these things have happened...ABSOLUTELY NOT, but they have.
I'm putting this out there again cause there are a lot of new guys on this thread. If you want to make you're time at TSA easier heres a few pointers.
1. wear the company headset
2. NEVER yell at scheduling...pilots never win that one especially since the new D.O. came in.
3. Depending on staffing level wear a hat...yes guys have been in trouble over not wearing hats
4. On reserve expect all but your 3 GDO's to be moved so you're not disappointed when you're whole month changes.

FWIW, during one of my recurrent classes out there (some time ago) I spoke to the POI and specifically asked about the headsets... his reply echoed what everyone has said on here about the test pilots wearing DC model xxxx. To this day his rambling made no sense to me, but it is the game you must play if TSA is in your plans.

Please show your support for PSA pilots in their upcoming vote on their concessionary contract. The TA bullet points are posted at www.stopthewhipsaw.com

What I got from a few posts back was that hats are mandatory? Interesting. But ok. Go with it I suppose. So on another note, whats the reserve time look like for a new hire? And STL as a base?
