Considering that the airplane hasn't even been built yet and it seem like it will be 3 years before is delivered at the earliest, I would say the MRJ won't be offered in the next few classes, but go there and build your seniority so you can then hold it in 2017!

Nah. All TSA can offer me is jet time. I mean I guess if the upgrade went down significantly it might be a good move but, I'm probably looking at upgrading in 6 months anyways and I have a good schedule now. I just don't think that what matters is getting the PIC turbine, not neccessarily jet time, but of course ther are always exceptions.

I did say reasonably good, take it for what its worth but 7 years ago it stunk, 5 years ago we started bleeding and three years ago we were on life support! Miraculously we now have a new contract which is fairly dignified by regional standards, SOME, and I mean SOME respect from management, aircraft that have more nuts and bolts than speed tape, these tablet thingies, acars, electronic w and b and some other notable small stuff that makes life at work a little bit easier. I had a hard time coming to work 3 years ago but the fun feeling of flying has started to creep back up on me, its still a regional and I will say it again it ain't heaven but it sure ain't the hell it once was, sometimes I actually have to pinch myself cause I cant believe what has happened as well as the news of growth and movement.

If there's a pilot group who deserves good it's certainy the water skiers. I loved and miss my time spent there as hellish as it was but you guys deserve and have certainly earned all the good that comes your way. I hope it keeps getting better.

Glad to hear it! 3 years on the inside, now 3 years on the outside...I do believe my wife would kill me if I stopped at the training center and gave them a resume....heck, i'd probably kill myself...if they said street captain though....hmmmm.

I actually had scheduling rearrange my schedule to work with a day off I would like, while on reserve. Things have gotten much better since 3 years ago.
