I was just looking at the ALPA j/s guide and it said AX allows only 2 j/s'ers?? You guys don't subscribe to the 'open cabin' plan? If that's the case, are you penalized at other airlines who j/s open cabin? I ran into that problem several years ago at OH when our agreement with WN was being upgraded from the old restrictive system to open cabin.
Thanks!
Thanks!
It seems anyways that most jumpseaters are affiliated with United, so they are not jumpseating in the back, just nonreving.. I guess there could be an odd chance we get 3 mainline Delta guys or something like that, but like I said... The pilots will not leave anyone behind..

Since big brother doesn't want me to share the truth, I'll try to get my point across in a different way..
If the past is an indicator of the future, I would examine the trends at TSA.. Many have been burned in these massive hire/recalls..
Given up a safe job, started class, then furloughed shortly after..
Good luck to anyone deciding to join.

Have a general question for TSAers, if you don't mind. At end of initial training, is it a PIC or SIC type given?.

Used to be an SIC type, but I think they've changed it for the new rules.. I think now you get an ATP and a full type.. (Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't been back to the schoolhouse since they switched stuff around)
