GoJet has nothing to do with Scabbing.

Nothing at all.

It's an absolute schit place to work but no, nobody is crossing ANY picket lines.

There's no attack here hombre - the thread IS on track without talking about "problems" associated with G7 and it being better or worse than somewhere else. That's a great way to get a thread closed down, although this one will never be because it's the greatest. One love to the waterskiers. Again, hotel out.

As the father of this thread, I advise you to choose your words wisely. We Waterskiers do not take kindly to fools and will not suffer them for long.

Whatever your preconceived notions about GoJet are, you may want to check your facts. They are NOT scabs. However, there are many who disagree with their decision to work for GoJet. Those truths aside, this thread is no place for the discussion or mention of G7.

Took your advice and sent them an email asking for a date in October. Plus the school where I teach at got a big flood of students for the fall semester and I would feel bad leaving them in a bind so soon.

Sounds like the school's marketing department is really excelling if they can still sell this career!

Just from my experience, I would consider getting in a class as soon as you can. I understand not wanting to leave your current employer hanging but I'm sure they will be able to find another CFI to fill your spot.

Actually we don't even advertise. It's all word of mouth from former students and pilots. But we are also located right next a large military base and a lot of guys get out and use their Gi bill. I tell all my students the truth and don't sugar coat anything.
