Trans States

Hey guys I have an interview in a few days with Trans States. Just wondering from the guys working here on how is QOL compared to other regionals? I'm married, no kids looking to commute out of Texas.

I guess that would be easier than my LAX-STL commute but this particular company isnt really easy to commute to...if you're stl based.
As for QOL...it's improved greatly with the new contract (your bank account will like you a bit more) but reserve is reserve. As of June (when I peaced out) there was no airport reserve in STL... Airport reserve was how I funded my Indian girl habit by the way...
You'll never fly with a greater bunch of brahs!

I can't imagine Houston being terrible, not great but could be worse. One good option would be Southwest out of Hobby, they are great for commuting and I can't imagine jumpseat competition being to thought between the two city pairs. Unfortunately United out of IAH is all RJs and they are always full.

Speaking as to QOL of other regionals, this has been my only one, so I can't compare, but just talking to pilots and bros from other ones it seems that they're comparable. Some things are better at other places, some things are better here....it's a regional.
Truth.

I did DFW-IAD for years with no issues. (Ignore united, it's all full, but AA almost always has seats).
Reserve is gonna suck, but unless you move to base, it's gonna be that way anywhere.

I got an interview email yesterday. I wasn't going to consider it but I see they have orders for 50 MRJ's. That's a 200% growth in fleet count. Does this mean quick upgrades if I get on board now?
