Same here no good news in forever. I'd even settle for not super crappy news at this point....doesn't even really need to be good.

Gate agents in YOW said August we were gone and Expressjet was replacing us up there. I've heard stuff like this before and not lost cities before so who knows. Also heard a crew room rumor of starting IAH flying in Sept.

Something was said in the townhall meeting recently about this..wanting to drop the Canada flying and hopefully get to Houston.
They're convinced it'd help performance numbers and want to trade for new routes..or that's how it sounded.

There is another reason why TSA is trying to get out of the CND flying.
FTR I am an A&P mechanic . I talked to a couple of former mechanics that worked at TSA. and they told me that their planes tend to breakdown in Canada quite a bit (NO offence but it does happen). And they had to go on road trips to repair them. Unfortunately it cost a crap load of money to get cleared with customs just to get there. Especially when they have to bring heavy toolings with them. If the plane breaks in America, it's a lot cheaper. just saying.

Why are they breaking in Canada?
