If you aren't flying and need the job take it. You will need the hours AND you can still keep your applications in at other airlines as the rest of us should be doing. None of these airlines are a sure thing and some of these prophets of DOOM forget that this airline also owns the one that everybody thinks is the place to be. TSA was once thriving like it's 'sister' airline so if I were them, I'd look at who owns me and not get too cocky.

I guess you mean back in the TWE days. 
Trans States has always been a good place to get a job when you need one (and one of the coolest pilot groups to be found anywhere!). But places like TSA survive the same way that cockroaches survive. When the world ends there will be 3 things left: Roaches, twinkies, and Trans States Airlines.

What's your problem? If Trans States is the only place that offers you a job you should turn it down? I said that you should keep your applications going at other airlines... I guess you think these pilots should just sit on their hands and not get their 1500 hours while they can, any way they can. Oh, that way...when the mins kick in they won't be able to find a job anywhere... It figures someone would be able to FIND a way to make my post offensive when I'm only trying to encourage pilots not to stagnate.

I don't have a problem it was a JOKE. You know the kind of gallows humor that makes TSA special? Or is everyone all thin skinned and sensitive now? If you actually read what I wrote I said Trans States is a good place to get a job when you need one. I'll always be proud to have been a waterskier and I don't fault anyone for taking the opportunity but use TSA like the cheap ho that she is don't take her home to mom afterwards that's all I'm sayin.
