*Uneventful repo*

Me: Operations, 808 abeam fifteen......

*Ten dudes stroll out taking their sweet time, playing grab ass or looking at a cell phone*

Seems like this is just a band aid. FO already said a few weeks ago that we were going down to 21 planes because he renewed 838 and 840 something. All this means is we gave up on trying to get US air flying or they weren't going to give it to us in the first place. So this is a gain on one airplane from what he said we were going to get weeks ago? All this sounds like is that attrition was worse than what they thought it was going to be. Seems like a lot of guys are going to VA. Congrats to them. But if guys that were furloughed already have something tangible, I would wonder why they would come back. Seems like we're going to be facing the same hurdles next year yet again.

Just bustin ya man And you're totally right...this thing dings more during 'normal' operation than it should.
