Heard secondhand from SM.
....damnit.
With all the open time either starting with a DH to STL, ending with one, or an airways trip, saw this coming unfortunately. There's going to be a lot of commuting nightmares coming this spring.

Based on that statement, it would be a safe bet to assume the base will close. After all, he didn't even know how many airplanes we have, and how many we expect to be left with this summer.

20ish crews? From what the reserve grid looked like between STL and IAD... they would need 10 at the most. Understandably, if all the planes we lost translated into lost IAD flying then it would be necessary.

ive been to several interviews since TSA and i laugh everytime every airline talks about their plans for growth...even airlines that just fly fifty seaters. theyre all planning on growing and TSA is planning on...well...not growing but shriviling up and dying.
