But, you know... The good news is the AQP program is now approved by the FAA. Just in time to not have any pilots to put through it!

How very disturbing. I never thought it would get this bad. I'm so sorry for all of my dear friends going though this. It looks like this very well is the end. It's a crying shame to have so many excellent people discarded like they are nothing but a liability. Turns out the light at the end of the tunnel for so many was another on comming freight train. This was a legitimate fear of the new contract, to shut us up so we can be dismantled. Never believed it would actually go down like this. I will never forget where I came from and how much everyone means to me.

Not sure when the shutdown party will be, but I'll make a suggestion for the location: HK's front lawn. Ten kegs of Budweiser will be provided. However, no porta-potties will be available...

So has anyone been to the town hall meetings and heard this directly? If this is true then after 6 years I would be furloughed again and once again our sacrafice has helped further you know who.

According to FO, 7 from UAL and 4 for US. 2 of the planes from UAL may be renegotiated to stay and I guess that answer will be known in a week. The 4 airways planes are still a ?. Within the next 90 days Airways will have an answer on them.
Still looks like a guaranteed loss of 5, possibly 9, maybe 11.

Me too. Even best case scenario (only losing 5) that takes us to 14 total airframes by summer. Ten crews (roughly) per airplane...doing the math a lot of people that have been here a long time are about to be either on the street or working the thrust levers with their left hand.
