I worked there for 4 months. Not a terrible gig. $18/hr SIC with no guarantee, $30/hr PIC with a 60 hour guarantee and a 1 year training contract. I believe it goes up to $36 year two. Most lines were worth like 80-100 hours so the guarantee was never an issue. Also, 135 rules so you can go up to 120. Really productive days too. We'd squeeze out 8.0 on the hobbs in like a 9.5 hour day. 10 minute turns, you know? I believe you only need 2500 total to fly in the left seat, but they want like 500 in type so it might mean 5ish months in the right for those without Van time. I got while the getting was good because we were getting summarily whipped by Cape Air, but I was going to suggest it on this thread when I first heard the news about you guys. I've still got a couple friends there who say it's alright. It's a blast taking a Caravan into ORD. I'm not sure if they're hiring but I know they've had a decent amount of turnover since I left there last April. PM me for some contact info if anyone's interested.

Got crashpad guys who work there. Seem happy with the place. Id imagine it'd be great if live in stl. A new hire I live with gets 15 days off a month but never more than two consecutive so commuting would be pointless.

Honestly sounds like a fun place to fly while you're young! Especially if you're getting some time off in STL and you know where to go!

Hmm...I doubt they're in CASS correct?

Not a bad option to those who will undoubtedly have Christmas off this year

The guy I took to ORD this morning listed for the jumpseat, but he got a seat in back, so there's some sort of reciprical agreement but not sure if CASS.

I'm not 100% but I think they are cass. At least they're supposed to be but I think there's been some confusion over the paperwork. On a side note...my roommate had some paperwork to turn in and the chief pilot had already gone home for the day so he told him just to come by his house and he made him dinner. Sounds like a nice lil opt they got going but they're totally dependant on eas dollars so who knows when that'll get cut. Everybody I know is very happy there.

I've already contacted the Pinnacle MEC Chairman to start a process of giving you guys preferential hiring here. I'm not sure what the details will be, but he says he will be in contact with your MEC shortly. Hopefully we can get you guys over here quickly.

They're not in CASS. The CASS thing over there is the proverbial carrot. When I started it was, "Yeah we just sent that CASS paperwork in last week." Same thing with the 121 transition. Gotta be careful not to fly you too much or you'll time out by the end of the year when we go 121. That was 11 months ago. A couple of weeks ago I ran into a guy in the A concourse and he said they've got a reciprocal with with a couple of airlines, but no CASS. "They said they sent the CASS paperwork away last week though!" It was actually you guys to IAH we were both getting on so TSA must be one of the reciprocals.

And the EAS thing is very unstable. Good guys to fly with though. Chief pilot is a really good guy. It was really great for me in the short term because I live in STL, but I wouldn't plan on building a career there. They have big aspirations but no money to back them up.

Anybody have any idea at what rate the airplanes are returning to the lessors? Are they going to go back one at a time or all at once in May?
