Thanks. Mine starts with zero, so good to know.

And thanks for the helpful input, everyone. I appreciate it. I've been very timid about posting here for obvious reasons but I'm excited to finish up and apply.

Pretty much all the TSA peeps are happy to help. Sometimes we get some troll guys that ruin it for prospective new hires.

The MRJ has too many seats and is too heavy to fit into any of the major airlines' scope clause. Plus, I think most majors are pretty much scoped out in terms of 76-seat aircraft. They might as well have 737-NEOs on order.

What could a new hire expect for an upgrade outlook with no prior 121 time? The pay seems to be pretty good as the industry is concerned. And from what I understand as a FO the basing is pretty open. Please correct me if I am wrong on any of these assumptions. Does anyone have any opinions on the contract, as well as the maintenance done on the planes?

Thanks for the help, and forgive my naiveté; I am just trying to figure out why this isn't as much of a hotspot, as other places that seem to have more attention given to them. If what I think I know about this place is true, it seems like it could be a great place!

Contract is fair. Many places to improve but overall its not bad. As we negotiate PBS the contract will get MUCH better.

Maintenance... Yes, maintenance is done on the planes. Most of our fleet is just fine... then there are the few "bad apples", if you will. You tend to come across the bad apples on your last day of the trip... funny how that works that way...

50 seater jets. We dont have the Shiny Jet Syndrome allure that most "new to the industry" pilots are looking for.

For the life of me, I'll never understand this. Guys are willing to work for shat wages and a crappy contract, but the fact they're flying a slightly larger jet makes it all worth it???? Smh. To his their own I guess.

Can you still be a CQFO if you do have the greater than 1000 hours 121 SIC but no ATP certificate or written? In other words you would need the CTP class.
