Your Union is the only one saying we aren't taking it. Until it comes from our company that we aren't taking it I don't believe any rhetoric that your Union tells you.
Because they've never given you bad information before....remember vote no, no one else can staff?

Ok. Wait for it from your own people.
Some people think this is will be next month type thing. Those N6__AE airframes went over fresh from a heavy check from MQT or ABI. They will be operated by TSA until the next heavy check. That's anywhere between 18-24 months. Who knows what will happen in 18-24 months. Look what has happened in the last 18-24 months. Are there triggers that could cause them to be returned to AAG (not saying Envoy specifically) sooner? Envoy management seems to think so. But if we can;t trust our management, and you say we shouldn't trust our union, lets just see what happens. It's 14 or 15 airframes. The one that may/may not be going over is not going to break the bank on either side and we have at least a year until the rest are even a consideration.
So everyone just call the F down.
Oh, and be gentle with this batch

Right now, STL is the only base getting any new hires and there are a few vacancies around the rest of the system getting filled but it seems like its been somewhat slow for new guys getting out of stl because we have been getting our AA airframes much faster than our UA airframes.
Our AA growth is basically finished now however.
Id guess now not more more than a few months though to get out of stl and pretty much to anywhere. Additionally, we are preparing to open an rdu base supposedly in march to staff our AA flying better with a "dry run" on our November standing bid peroid to judge how many people are interested in moving.
That will take some of the flying out of STL but how exactly that shift will shake out is subject to considerable speculation. I dont think there is a really solid answer on that right now.
After that, more UA airframes are supposed to be sent to DEN and DEN is supposedly going to begin to grow again.
Hope that helps....

Hate to burst your bubble but all 15 are here and the only aircraft getting delayed are UA 145s because the company has made staffing the AA airplanes a priority because that contract is more lucrative. If we lose anything it will be UA ot AA.
Welllll at COMMMMMMAAAAAIIIIIIRRRRR....On the SEEEEEEEE ARRRRREEEE JAAAAAAAY.
Give it a rest, nobody cares.
