Hey all - I have read the last 10 pages or so, as well as some of the middle parts where the fighting occurred.
One thing I have not seen addressed is how the existing pilot group feels about the CQ guys coming in. I am considering applying as a CQ with 4300 TT and previous 121 left seat, but if it is into a caustic environment where me just being there is an offense, I would go elsewhere.
So without causing a ruckus, would the current pilot group speak up and let me know how things are in that respect?
Thanks in advance.

I'm just asking because you are always talking up PBS on here, but how on earth are you going to be crediting anywhere near what you're crediting now once PBS gets here?
Right now it's pretty easy credit 100 hours without giving up days off with a couple trip swaps. And crediting 125-130+ hours isn't out of the realm of possibility if you're willing to give up 2-4 days off. Once PBS gets here the available open time is going to be cut drastically, and 200% is going to be gone for sure. While I want to have a min day, are you going to vote away the ability to credit an extra 25-30 hours a month on the 4:00-4:12 that we are likely to be offered? The average pilot will make 4-4.5 hours of credit in a month from a 4.0 min day, but will lose a lot of flexibility and extra pay credit because of the lack of opentime. look at how well PBS is working out for GoJet pilots .
This is precisely why min day should have been in this contract/extension (oh well, there's 2018), and NOT tied to PBS, which will be a huge concession to a majority of the pilot group.

JLTD - Most of the CQFOs are alright. There are one or two who come across as entitled whiny cry babies and don't stop complaining all the damn time. Some are really not quite ready / comfortable in the left seat but I could probably say the same for new organic captains as well.
Plus, if enough of you new CQFO's get hired, I will start to get by-pass pay
Regarding PBS...
There is absolutely NO REASON to vote it in. It does not benefit the pilot group as a whole and benefits the company a helluvalot.
If they want it, I want to see some major changes and improvements to overall quality of life and pay structure. I already sent my input in to the MEC.

I agree though. The company will have to pony up on QOL and scheduling protections in order for me to consider PBS. If they do, I have no problem giving up 20 hours of potential swap credit each month for some semblance of control over my schedule.

It's confirmed now that the last of the envoy 145's scheduled to be transferred to you won't and the ones there now will be coming back.
Looks like you are spared from that horrible east coast flying. Whew.

Not saying I dont believe you. But source, or it aint worth a thing. "heard it from a guy" is not a source.
If you mean the very last Envoy 145 then sure... you keep that 1 airplane. All that aside, everything coming from here is those contracts were 4-5 years. Considering AAG wanted to give us another 35, I highly doubt what you are spewing is true. I've been wrong before in life, but I doubt I am on this one.
Being privately held they don't tell us squat anyway.
