Happy Halloween PoosieKat.
Well only someone dense enough to go to Blowjet wouldn't bother to read the article, and would make such an idiotic statement. Outsourcing lift is one thing, but the mass outsourcing of over the wing and under the wing customer service is unprecedented and a completely different deal. But hey since you Blowjet idiots don't understand math, I wouldn't expect you to understand this.

Outsourcing is outsourcing. There's no difference. Don't enjoy an outsourced job and then look down your nose at the other employee groups.

I understand math just fine. Just over 4 years at GoJet, now my paychecks are massive. That's math. And it's math I appreciate.

You're an outsourced employee. I was...but not anymore. GoJet got me to where I'm at.

Xoxo.

Once again you don't have the first clue. The issue is outsourcing your customer service (particularly the over the wing service) to companies that have no background in airline customer service, and get the contract by paying lowball wages that result in having customer contact employees that are ill trained and don't have the ability to handle basic tasks, which has given United a horrible reputation with its passengers compared to Delta and American. The performance right now from companies like Simplicity, Swissport and others is atrocious, and that is being kind. Not to mention outsourcing your customer service to your competition (Envoy) that do provide a better service but make it very clear their first priority is American, and the UAL flights and passengers are an afterthought. They have even used companies that were security companies that had never performed airline service at all. It has been a disaster, which is why UAL is creating its own wholly owned company to replace these operations once they get it up and running.

Or you could have gone to a decent regional, with decent pay rates, and made more money and still be where your at, although with more money.....

So no, you don't understand math at all...

This whole argument reminds me of the cosmonaut in Armageddon

"American components, Russian components... ALL MADE IT TAIWAN!"

Come on guys, put some ointment on that butthurt. Its over, done with. The Gojet pilots at the time did what they did. Its the regionals. One company gets whipsawed against the others. Sometimes its against itself.

WE ALL WORK FOR OUTSOURCED, LOWEST BIDDER COMPANIES. Why? Because thats why we exist. To allow the majors to have a B-scale workforce for what is now the majority of flying in the nation.

What does it matter where you went? Be it Gojet, TSA, Endeavor, Envoy, Escort or Giggalo airlines? You got to where you are. good for you. Joe Shmoe will go to airline A and Alan Smith will get to airline B.

As far as the majors are concerned, we are all the same. This illusion that one is "BETTER" than the other or that it "better positioned you" is bullhonky.
