I do see your point. I still think in the next few years pilots are going to become a commodity and whoever has them will have the airframes. I fly the same airplane as you and Delta wants us to fly it through 2020 because they don't want our pilots to staff another airline's flying. I hope we raise the bar as well, it's been a long time coming.
P.S.
XJT operates under concessionary contract which is still better than your new TA... But it's ok, keep telling yourself that you raise the bar.

Nobody cares dude. It's fine, one of the best 50 seat contracts. You are just mad we're flying your planes that United gave to us. Just like when you underbid Tsa, as in flew for free...to get that United flying because you had like 40 failed branded expressjet planes in the desert. Remember? When your brilliant managemt thought it was a good idea to fly from ONT to Bakersfield hahahaha

Back to Branded, and DelCon- both were actually starting to become profitable for us. In my last 6 months as a Branded FO, our load factors were through the roof, and the financials were beginning to reflect that. With the drop in oil prices of September '08, it would have been immensely successful.

The big deal is that an "industry leading" pay increase was voted in to try and staff airplanes that are yet to come on property, while the likes of AWAC and RJET who have TA's and LLLLBFO's out with rates north of the "industry leading" pay are being undercut. It's a "me me me" culture of taking the first offer to facilitate growth and quick upgrades. One day you'll just realize you are the flavor of the week and there's no one to fill seats because you neglected to make this career viable for the people behind you.
Really getting tired of the lecture from someone who works at Republic under a CBA that was negotiated and signed with the idea of taking out Comair and other regionals with decent contracts and getting flying from Comair. Bedford sold the current Republic contract to the pilots on the idea that they would get all this Comair flying from Delta and everyone on the property would upgrade. The number of 50 seaters and 170s Exploded at the expense of Comair, ACA, and Air Whiskey. So don't give anyone lectures about their contracts when the position you presently enjoy was the result of a substandard contract negotiated and signed with the cooperation of the pilots at Chautauqua to undercut and take flying from other regionals. That is why no one has any sympathy for Bedford's present troubles.
