Consistent landings with the CRJ 200

"When you hear "10," hold it off and try to fly in formation with the runway. You will touch down in the touchdown zone consistently with acceptable smoothness."
Totally agree! Vref+ 1/2 headwind+ gust(if present)
Use the formula for the Impact Force from Falling Object . 1.3-1.5G gives You acceptable landing! Aerodynamics rules! )

If you are executing stabilized approach, keep 3* GS and the power at constant N1 that gives you vs 350-550 in negative, You DON'T even have to decrease the power to idle and do any flare thing until touchdown! Thats the landing should be! Stabilized Apprch Landing!

Idle thrust is one of the parameters required for the spoilers deploying, and you will risk a bounced landing if you land with power. Not to mention a CRJ 200 will float forever if you leave much power in after the 50' call.
