One of you guys must be management! The 500 company hours for upgrade suddenly reappeared this week. Hummm. My money is on YerOnGuard. Knows FOM a little too well!
Very, very, few are upgrading anyway.
Just fifteen upgrades first five months of the year. On pace for thirty-six upgrades in 2024.

Came here to say the same thing, timing seems more than a little suspicious. The lack of upgrades is still a problem, we have so much unrealized potential here. What bothers me most is that the company cared enough to pay captains to come in and provide feedback on why people don't upgrade, but as far as I can tell they have completely ignored "the data". The opportunity cost of sticking it to labor is staggering.

Future Widebodies?
In the interest of "fun," if we were to get WBs down the road, why is everyone so set on A330s? Is there any chance AT ALL we could ever get 777s or 787s? Or the 797 in the future (prob not a WB, but just for fun discussion)? I know it's not happening anytime soon but I think it would be a fun convo.
How are older A330s on dispatch reliability? I know older 767s aren't super reliable. I think the Triple is fairly reliable.
