The average line value for January is 89:20. As a new hire you’ll probably be at the reserve minimum (75 hours) for a bit, but that’s probably close to what the lines average throughout the year once you get a line.

The main reason FO’s are bypassing is schedule and QOL. We are getting a lot of commuters that don’t want to upgrade into being a reserve captain.
No talk of upping the pay, the company could up first year pay without consulting the union, yet they haven’t. They have applications stacked and classes full to May, so they aren’t seeing a recruitment issue to necessitate a first year pay bump. The issue is retention.

You can upgrade the second you hit 500 in type.

As far as the full classes, I know of two guys who have a class date and are going elsewhere. And I don’t know many people.

With the announced (mailed?) pay rates at Allegiant we now have the dubious honor of the lowest paid year one FOs. Regionals included. Yeah I know, UPS- different animal. Although leadership hasn’t talked about FO pay increases, not sure how they avoid them.

Aah, well hopefully we see increases here too. I’m guessing as long as we keep getting new hire FO’s, we won’t see anything substantial. The company is focused on getting enough upgrades to staff the projected growth. They tell their investors they want to be double in size by 2027. Pretty lofty goal from where we are.
