It's a combination of sims, instructors, training center, etc. Little by little progress is being made on expanding the capacity, but it's probably not going to happen all at once. Although with little to no CA upgrades at least more resources are freed up for new hires...

If you remain flexible, it’s quite possibly SCA could ask you if you’re interested in an earlier class date. I suppose you could also email the hiring authority and make them aware you would accept an earlier/short notice class date.

I told them I’d be willing to go ASAP ideally a 3 week notice is what I would prefer since I work for a smaller 135

Just got pushed to March, along with 9 other classmates. I’m assuming most future classes will be moved for people who respond fast enough.

Good luck. Current training schedule feels like it’s slowing- if anything. They just “reorganized”
training department leadership.

Wouldn’t recommend you give notice to your day job just yet.

He moved up from April. “Pushed” is a little misleading. Maybe they’re having bigger classes than the 10 per month they were planning for January and on?

Ah, ok, so good news. I don’t know what the specific hiring numbers are, other than GM saying that 288 new FO’s is the goal for next year, which comes out to 24 a month.
