A few quick questions from someone looking to submit an app in the next month or so, for anyone that might be willing and able to answer.

What are typical class sizes right now?
How is seniority determined within a class? (i.e. age, SSN)
How long from interview to class date?
Training footprint/backlog?
Time to upgrade if you already meet 121 and company minimums?
Is HQ, Training and Sims all at MSP airport now or still in Eagan?
What year of the contract are you currently in and when does it expire?

Thanks!

Classes are ranging anywhere from 9-20. The number changes every month. Seniority is decided by age. Interview to class date is 3-4 months at the moment. Training footprint is 3-4 months to get done with sims, and a big question mark when it comes to OE. Probably anywhere from 4-6 months until you hit the line.

Time to upgrade is about a year, year and a half. HQ and training is at MSP, sims are in Eagan. Currently year 2 of contract, year 3 will be January 2024 which will be the halfway point of the contract, which expires at the end of 2025.

Don’t worry about seniority within your class. Half of them will be at Delta within a year

Imagine not wanting to commute and working with people who actually enjoy what they do… Not every company is going to be perfect just like not every flight is exactly perfect. It’s all perspective. Look for bad you’ll only find bad. Look for good you’ll find the good.

I’m looking forward to what midterm brings with Union and company, whenever that happens.

Who do you work for? The beautiful thing about this country is you can find a new job if you aren’t happy with the one you have…

Can I ask why you’re looking forward to “midterm” bargaining?
What exactly are you hoping for?

If it’s just “hope”, well, hope is not a strategy.
