It was worth ~105 hours credit. The contract limit line builds to 95 hours. It was a software error and has been fixed now.

Interestingly, there were more lines than I've ever seen before built to exactly 95:00 which makes one question...either the software is really, really good to be able to build that many lines to exactly 95:00, or something was "finessed."

I've totaled some of the lines up manually. For the most part they total to exactly 95:00, which I didn't expect. Impressive that they've been able to maximize that well. 2032 totaled up to 94:50.

the computer system S3 can build them better than a human. It’s making the pairings contractually and far compliant the tricky part. Another job of ALPA is to reduce circadian swaps. With the variety of flying it can be a challenge.

Has the company waived the 500 hours in type to upgrade?

Yes. Basic FAA requirements now. There’s some unhappiness from the masses. Don’t want to upgrade but don’t want DECs either, etc etc. You probably know how it is.
It’s a quality training dept. A regional captain walking on here as a DEC can succeed. That’s who they want.

They need to raise pay. But there’s nothing being discussed.

That’s the side effect of rushing a contract through when everyone else was about to enter negotiations too. Took our shot too early

Raise from poverty wages to $78 & $195 was a win, no?
Remember that Frontier keeps throwing new money at new pilots- because they want to grow.

You got me there…I just saw F9 raised their new hire bonus to 50k. Yeah it’s time to open up the checkbook.
