I get the impression that the union is giving some focus to the issue. They hold regular conference calls addressing these reserve issues so it's coming up over and over again and not being swept under the rug. And it's not just an issue for the most junior pilots. I think there are many pilots who would like to be able to bid reserve from time to time without having to deal with the way we get jerked around on reserve.
Now that we've talked about reserve for a couple of pages, can we move on to more exciting topics, like IPO's?

Commuting to reserve is bad... Once a line holder then it was a little more tolerable. A regional I may or may not have been at had better reserve rules. Hopefully this next contract changes the status quo.

The legacy of Sun Country. The top third of the list maxed out on captain pay telling every single person junior to them to leave. Hasn’t changed in 10 years. Won’t see the top third leave. They’re waiting for turn lines.

That would also require Sunny to have the airframe on property and I agree work rules are a huge component. You can have a $1,000 hourly rate but if the work rules are trash it doesn't mean anything. Don't count your chickens before they hatch!

Good day for Sun Country. Stock up 50%. Value estimated at 2 Billion.
