1. Is it leg by leg block or better? This may not be as big of a deal when the average seems to be two legs per day but it was really nice at my regional.
2. How do junior assignments typically go? Are they common?
3. What are inviolate days?
4. How do golden days work?
5. How are the hotels? Are there different short and long layover hotels? If so, what's the cutoff?
6. Any more details on the sort lines? I believe these are the out of base reserves that are meant to help the cargo operation?
I am just off OE, and honestly its been pretty relaxing. Got to build my month after OE since it was after the bid, and in the middle of my reserve period. I live in base fyi, but its light years better than where I came from. No Hot reserve, they can only assign you one trip at a time, without changing your original assignment until you are back in base (home for me.) Lots of Cargo flying this month which has many more perks than meets the eye. And honestly just a fun place to work so far. A couple long double dead head days, but its 100% paid so works for me. Most days are 1-2 legs high credit/block legs. Perfect.

Our new contract, which yet to have been fully implemented for staffing and planned changes, its pretty dang good. It has some perks some Legacies do not have. Ive gained over 20 percent senority since day one (FEB 2022). I can upgrade literally by the end of the year. And if the company gets 1000 pilots and over 100 airplanes like they want, Ill easly be in the top 50 percent guranteeed and near the top at retirement.

Minnie is the only thing that holds this place back from being a serious possibility for people. Communting is commuting, even when dead deviations are approved. I wouldn't be surprised with growth things will continue to improve for the pilot group. This place is a diamond in the rough.

I have an interview set up soon, can anyone explain what a typical line holder schedule looks like?

Just watch out for that WN merger/buyout that's coming

Just after the Alaska merger… No wait, I mean the Allegiant merger… But before the Delta buyout. And after we buy Swift. But before Amazon buys us outright. Then we’ll open a Las Vegas base.

It’ll all change by the time you’d be off reserve. Come Jan 1st we will transition to PBS bidding instead of hard lines. And a new 3.5 trip rig.

Schedules will be better

Better watch out with that optimism, guys on the line don’t take kindly to that!

Anyone know of any mil guys getting hired with a R-ATP? It meets their minimums but there's others here squawking with 5000+ hours 121 and not getting the call.
