Schedules really are going to be similar to other lcc’s and legacies when those work rules are in place in my opinion.

On another note. Has the company even used the out of base reserve yet? Maybe not enough pilots at this point considering they’re offering 300% for fo’s.

I agree and I also believe the new contract will attract and retain a lot of guys/gals once the additions you mentioned kick in 2023 & 2024. If Amazon gets their way, there could be a bid for “home” basing lines for the freight flying. I’m not aware of them using the out of base reserve yet

Honestly, if you originate from anywhere but MSP, the crew meals are ok. SFO and RIC are the best (both Amazon).

In the galley you have approximately 85 bottles of water and enough Coca Cola to give you diabeetus twice.

Also most have coffee pots or boilers and coffee/creamer/sugar, so you can brew yourself a cup enroute.

every cargo flight has catering. So water, coffee, diet Coke, regular coke, and then whatever meals you are due for the day. Mostly on cargo stuff it's just sandwiches but on passenger flights it's hot stuff, probably a combination of prison/school lunches, but I like em
What is the criteria for passenger flights getting crew meals or not?

I expect the company to toss money at the Pay scale as an LOA, to beef up the low/mid seniority Guys. Possibly some more commuter friendly policies (maybe commuter hotels) in the upcoming few months.

I expect the packed schedules to continue till the new training center is up and running (end of summer) and we get some solid language for commuter issues.

A new hire today will be on reserve for about 2 months. Then be flying multi-day trips, as those tend to go very junior. Amazon trips are 1- 2 legs per day, charters often more, but half are ferry flights..and scheduled service maybe 1-2 legs a day...unless they're long legs, and youll DH down and operate back (or visa versa).

Hope this kinda helps.

Just make sure if you offline DH in from somewhere that will put your duty over 4 hours you are getting your meals on the SCX legs. Example would be DH MSP-DFW - ground - AFW-PIT. Historically AFW-PIT is under the 4 hours but the DH and transport put you over 4 hours duty

you should be off reserve for months 6-12 with all the hiring. They are paying FO’s 300% for open time pick ups April 1-4. I’ve heard FO’s crediting over 200 hours a month. So crediting 100+ hours a month shouldn’t be to difficult. 80 grand shouldn’t be a problem if you want to make money. First year min guarantee is 75 hours at $78.50 which equals about 70-71k.
