I think the “not that great comment” reflects that just about everyone is in the negotiating cycle and will soon pass these numbers by probably $20-40/hr, and that we’ve been operating at such a discount for so long someone wouldn’t be wrong for hoping to make up for the past underpayment. Both, in my opinion, are valid viewpoints. Still though, it’s a significant improvement for this pilot group, and I think the negotiators did well bringing us into the ballpark with the rest of our peers in both pay and work rules. Parking next to the terminal is a nice perk, but one that is useful to an ever decreasing percentage of the pilot group as more and more commuters come on board.

3.5 rig kicks in DOS+1, 5 hour average daily credit guarantee kicks in DOS+1, 5 hour min daily credit kicks in DOS+2 (NOT Average), 401k DC13% is DOS, it ramps up 1% a year until 15%. Pay at 12 year captain goes 261,269,277,294. With sections 4,7,8, 11,12,18,25,27,28,31 with massive improvements, and a mid contract opener in 2 years. Zero change to current insurance which Sun Country has some of the best in the industry. It’s remained the same since 2005 as far as premium pay coverage. I’d say it’s pretty good. I’m not saying in the next 12-18 months the big 4 along with JetBlue, spirit, frontier or Alaska isn’t going to get a new contract but currently this contract will have the highest narrow body rates in the industry which is saying a lot from when this place paid a 12 year captain when I got hired 126 bucks an hour and had the worst reserve/work rules in the industry. The dead head deviation will be great for the commuter. The international/DH’s longer than 5 hours in business class or better will be great. That is just one of dozens of improvements in QOL and soft money the union got in this TA.

I believe it’s 150% above 70 (as it is now), not 75. The PPE letter was incorporated “as is “ into the AIP.

Awesome....I was unaware. I figured the company would want to dump the LOA and go back to book. Another huge win for our MEC!!

Happy for you guys ! This makes Sun Country a place to stay long term. I am sure management had no choice with everyone moving around. But this brings you much closer to every other major.

Good strides in contracts always make every place better, because it brings up the average. I have no clue why people are so salty when some company gets a great deal... Seems so self sabotaging..

Thanks for being happy for the pilot group!
