Non Sun Country guy here...I've seen posts that say TA...then I saw post saying Union shot it down.

What's the actual situation?

Never a TA, just the company trying to say it was a done deal long before anything was agreed to. Lots of back and forth the last week or so, but fingers crossed, things are still progressing.

Details will be released today. MEC has a P2P call today to share the agreement in principle, and an email to follow for the pilot group highlighting the TA. A few days ago they shot down the proposal that had some very regressive work rules that would’ve made the pay less and QOL even worse. My 2 cents is Amazon and the company BOD said finally get a deal done at all costs. The union took them to the last minutes literally. Sounds like the pay rates and retirement retirement initially leaked are in the agreement. Plus a 3.5 trip rig. 5 hour true min duty and lots of other improvements. Kudos to the MEC, negotiators and Alpa
