Just an Allegiant outsider looking in because I heard about all this TA business. Just want to double check you all know about how our contract 5 years ago was negotiated with a big fat promise of a new scheduling system at a future date that never happened. This was on Jude’s watch. If you poll our pilot group, most pilots really liked Jude when he was here. But my .02 on the matter is to not negotiate something that will have some vague promise with a future date (rig, min day, and pbs were mentioned by one of you), it probably won’t happen and you will likely lose in court like we did. All good points, and I would hope we wouldn’t vote in anything with IOUs, but one point of correction…there isn’t and wasn’t a TA. Best guess is the company leaked something to aero crew that wasn’t even close to a deal in hopes of luring some suckers to apply on the rumor. The company is going the wrong direction in negotiations and as of tonight it sounds like no deal is going to be sent to the pilot group at all for a very long time. Things can change, but those things are on the company’s side and they seem to be digging a bigger hole to bury their head in at the moment.
