This is a sad turn of events. I flew with the pilot in question on a couple occasions during my year at Sunny and it was always a pleasant experience. His life story is an inspiration and it’s tragic when anyone leaves us too soon. My condolences to the family and fellow crew members at Sun Country.

Now that that’s out of the way, Yia was a really great guy with an INCREDIBLE story. He accomplished the American Dream and I can only hope I can be lucky enough to to meet the flight that brings him back to us. May he Rest In Peace and may his family find Peace and comfort knowing how much he meant to us.

Since you think you’re so good at figuring out who people are on this forum, why don’t you out this user too? Or do you just hide behind your username, troll?

There has been an update at the end of each of the 3 weeks of negotiations during the month of September. Generally unfruitful so far. Hopefully next month goes better.
