Yep, normal line pays straight pay. It’s when you pick up extra flying from open time that there’s caveats and an LOA that covers us at the moment for time and a half. Without the LOA, you just get premium for the part of the trip that is “hard fly,” or basically excluding soft pay. No premium on any deadheads, and I believe no premium on trip rig either, but not 100% on that without looking it up. Right now we’re covered by the LOA so it hasn’t been an issue since that was agreed upon. With how these trips are built, if that LOA goes away, there is very little incentive to fly any extra.

I was told the same rumors during my interview at the end of 2019. Then in ground school the higher ups said it wasn't happening. Many people have told me it was just management kicking the tires on the idea to see what it would cost them with the pilot group.
Recently had the CEO speak to a group of us and what I got out of it was to not expect new bases, and to grow more in MSP with more day-turns going forward.
