Anywhere between 1 and a lot more. It really depends. There’s no “min days off after a trip” provision or anything. 6 day trips are pretty common, too. Not unheard of to see two 6 day trips with one off in between. Makes it hard on the commuters. You can always try to trade stuff to make the schedule more palatable, but it depends on how much open time is out there.

Thank you! I see why this is not the best commuter airline

Yeah there is no min days off between work blocks.. I think that definitely needs to change. Back to back 6 days then a 5 day towards the end of the month is not economical at all.

Word of these awful schedules and work rules is getting out and it’s spreading like fire. The whole pilot group is up in arms about it. Someday it maybe will change but it seems a lot further out that what many realize, I think. If you can’t handle a 5 day trip with two/three days off and then a 6 day trip...again and again..don’t come here right now. Wait till the contract passes. QOL is awful. I don’t know who creates these trips but I think it’s probably someone shooting in the dark and seeing what happens and then publishing it. 72 hrs off in Baltimore on a 5 day trip is unacceptable.

Having to offline crews to and from assignments doesn’t help trip efficiency either.

There has been a lot of improvement in this area regarding the Amazon trips. It actually hurts the commuters, but for MSP based pilots it is much nicer to fly the live legs to start and finish the Amazon trips. I would much rather do that than offline DH. What would be better still would be not doing long, inefficient trips with poor trip rig, at all.

Not a perfect company, but good people here, and it's getting better all the time. I like it a lot! But I live here. Did I mention how that's important?

Good luck!
You’re saying within the reporting time to HHH- I presume. Is SC two hours?

Most all trips start early and end mid to late with vast majority ending late on the last day. Commute day before AND the day after the trip typically.

not sure what HHH is, but Report time on reserve is 2 hours (technically 2:30, since you get 30 minutes to callback). Reserve starts at 3am, 11am, or 5 pm
