We're profiting in cash approximately $1 million per airplane per quarter. We currently serve 61 markets out of the 500 they've identified that our model will work in. The board of directors has a fiduciary duty to the shareholders to maximize their profits and the ROI's. The BOD would be recalled if more airplanes aren't ordered and NK grown.

This time last year there were 147 at the end of 2021. Now that # is 160 without placing any orders. I can't imagine we are stopping there but if / size of order, who knows. My guess is there will be an announcement after the pilot contract is settled. Just a wild guess.

If we doubled or typical frequency, that would take us from one trip to two trips between city pairs by doubling out fleet. That's without adding cities. I'm guessing management just wants to get the best deal they can on planes.. But as someone else already pointed out, Airbus has an order backlog of 7000 jets. And the C-Series uses the troublesome Pratt geared motors. I think we should have gone with the next-gen CFMs.. Sad to see that NEO statue always parked in the DFW penalty box.
