Industry average just went up. The trend continues

Yes. They have said this repeatedly.

Correction: mediators, not arbitrators. The point still stands.

Agree to disagree.

Now, since a troll such as yourself spends a lot of time under bridges, would you like to weigh in on the proposed trillion dollar infrastructure spending?

Default Cosmic radiation

I know this is kind of tin foil hat club stuff, but the research is backing it up now. For all you young guys with 30+ years left flying, think about how the company wants to fly us to the max extent possible and mirror FAR 117 rules. It will be like having a chest X-ray every time you come to work.
I found the article in another thread and thought it was an interesting read.

Newly discovered 'radiation clouds' could pose extra risks to frequent flyers - ScienceAlert
Maybe I missed something but when did the company say they want us to fly to the max extent possible and mirror 117? I'm sure things will change a bit when we get a new TA but our pairings are inefficient for the most part, not maxed out. Interesting read though

Enough is enough already.
Again, the company is under no pressure to reach a deal. They're simply not in a hurry.

-Planes are moving uninterrupted from A to B.
-Trips are easily being covered as pilots stumble over themselves for WDOs, MUPs and JAs.
-June was a failure due to greedy individuals (including some union reps too!). That shows disunity.
-For every pilot that leaves for a legacy, there are three other regional/corporate guys lined-up begging for a free A320 type-rating and free admission to Tequila Rock.
-SAVE is doing relatively fine. The BOD is pretty happy with status-quo, but would to love to see lower costs. Guess who is expected make that happen with increased productivity?
-The pilot group in general seems bogged down and not engaged (tell me again what percentage of eligible pilots voted in the recent 109's election??).
-75% of the FO's I fly with want to leave, so they can really care less.
-The union leadership still seems to think Bendo and Co. are our partners and can be reasonable (didn't Bumbling Bob's statement yesterday about a "cost neutral" contract not ring a bell?!)
-Our CASM is very low and margins way up there. They want to keep it like that as long as possible.
-We haven't even entered the "economic sections" of negotiations. Who thinks that's gonna go well?

If we're all waiting for a pilot shortage...we'll be waiting for a long time. Keep sucking on your thumb watching everyone else get new CBA's and nice retro/profit sharing checks.

A ten year captain is leaving for SWA. What does that say?

And others to FedEx, UPS and Delta.... I know at least 3 "mid-level to senior" captains that are about to turn in their resignations. But the company doesn't care. Actually, they love it. They'll get rid of 10 year captains and upgrade 3 year guys at a much lower hourly rate to do the exact same job. Then hire the regional/corporate/CFI folks that got rejected elsewhere to take their place. Its a win-win for the company. Hope you captains are ready to do IOE for free...

I agree, many of our pairings are inefficient. I thought that NKS wanted Pref bid, ability to reassign, not allow reserves to drop, get rid of transition, get rid of 29 hr limit.....
These all seem like things to make it easier to fly us like a regional and max us out to the most extent possible. Why wouldn't they want that?
