Your domicile question is easy to find; only two items concerning new domiciles, right there in Section 26. So either you don't know the contract at all or might be somewhat familiar with it but don't bother to open it and look stuff up. Either way it's concerning. These types of things are samples of our collective knowledge, on full display for all of us (and management) to see.

Want to know what questions you should be asking?

"How well do I know the FOM and AOM Vol 2"? Hostages were taken in 2009-10 and we should readily assume this can and will occur again. A well-liked FLL CA was a victim then; maybe you should ask him how it went down.

"What am I required to say and subsequently act upon if a doctor's note is requested of me by management?" The ALPA email covered some of it, but each of us should read into this very carefully. Will I be required to get a note for myself, even if I called out to take care of my sick daughter? Am I able to use my sick time in this manner per the CBA? Personally, if I'm asked to provide a note, I'll probably head to the ER. Yeah, it's crazy expensive, but I'm glad the company is so concerned for my well-being and is willing to pay for such a visit.

"What is the process to borrow against my 401k? And how much can I borrow against it? What are the terms?" Don't necessarily assume the company will be willing to strike a deal just prior to a strike call. While fiscally irresponsible and foolish, this place has proven to be these things before. I know the process, having done so in 2010. Do you? I'm also willing to do it again. Are you? If not, better head over to the airlineapps site and start typing.

"If we do strike, what happens to my health benefits during the time I'm out?" COBRA is crazy expensive. What happens if little Johnny gets sick while we're on the sidewalk?

"Can I get home if I'm out on a trip and a strike is called?" Wanna know one of the rotten things Spirit did when we struck in 2010? They changed the IDs and put a little symbol on them, gave them out to non-pilot employees. Then they told the TSA that unless we had an updated ID (which of course none of us did) that they were invalid and held no bearing as an airline ID. Wanna get home? Better have a buddy with a buddy pass. You can kiss our CASS goodbye.

It's time to wake up people. We might've just scheduled a game against Alabama and some of you don't even know how to snap the ball yet.

Shame on him and shame on JB. But it's past and that's it. Much like a tennis match, we should congratulate the other side on a good play and move on. I'm not sure why 077 never recalled the guy, but I'm not in 077 so it's not my sidewalk to sweep.

It wouldn't surprise me. My last airline declared BK on April 1st.

These are the reasons why I will NEVER extend a duty day nor answer my phone on days off. I may lose to Alabama but, I'm not a directional school. Cobra bill for Healthcare June 2010 for my family $1450, for 5 days. Preach on brother.

A strike would last 3, 4 days tops.

Getting home on strike? ALPA bought tickets for those stuck away from home.

The COBRA benefits...didn't the return to work agreement make you whole? (Just a question...nothing more)

I spoke with the station supervisor a few days ago. I was told we still only have the 5 gates, we're going to 50 flights a day in a few months, maintenance is looking for hangar space at MCO. No word on a crew base. He agreed that we'd all be last to know if a base were to open.

as per CBA, the company will pay the cost of the visit including any diagnostic tests or portion thereof requested by the company NOT covered by insurance. so in essence, in MOST cases, you will just be running up your total insurance benefit.
