I know there are people saying years but I have been in this industry long enough to know that its normally about a year or 2 after the expiration of the previous contract.
If you've been in the industry long enough you'd know you can't take others on APC seriously, especially when it comes to contract-related things. Ask 10 pilots and you're going to get 10 different answers.

Sorry, I have my personal expectations but I won't negotiate my contract on APC and let management know what I am willing to accept. My negotiating committee knows what we expect and speaks for me.

I'm with A320ULCC, I won't post what I'm expecting or what I'll settle for. What our union has made public is we're asking for 'industry standard compensation '. Our last complete proposal submitted to the company made public by the union prior to us entering mediation, was current book on work rules, United +1% on pay (pre Delta TA passage), 16% DC retirement, and 'industry standard' profit sharing.....

As to how long the process will take, at our current pace I'd say a minimum of 1 year. The union has stated they anticipate to start negotiating the work rules & compensation portions in February, how long it will take with those meat an potatoes sections, no clue.....

You just asked an impossible question. How can anyone one person tell you what the contract will entail? Or how long it will take? Are you 121? Do you know how this works and that everyone's crystal ball broke the day they started in this industry?

None, anymore. He's an obese internet warrior, fired from Eagle, tried many times at getting elected to the MA legislature, turned down JetBlue, and was a failed LEC rep... His hobbies include eating many doughnuts (a cop thing) and completely denying facts.
