Just curious....
Does anyone have the Neg. Updates saved from this summer when we started to TA some sections? I checked the ALPA web and the updates are not up to date. I was wondering how many sections we have completed to date.

If you can't find them on ALPA.com, check spiritmadness. But don't get too worked up about the lack of info coming from the union, .... no one else is.

Has any furloughed pilot from Spirit gone to sister companies like WizzAir in Europe or Tiger Airways in Singapore?

That's a good question bubi. I wondered the same thing a few months ago and recieved no answer. When furloughed last fall they circulated an email saying to forward your resume to a Spirit HR contact if interested in flying in Singapore... and.... still waiting for a reply from HR over a year later. I think the safe assumption is no.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I remember that email. That's why I was asking. I just heard today Wizzair is hiring 30 or more pilots. I was hoping that Spirit did in fact help some furlough pilots transition abroad but that was probably wishful thinking.
Low cost airlines in Europe are doing relatively very well. Ryanair posted that their passenger count when up by 17% and EasyJet some 7% if I am not mistaken. This while other companies like British Airways report a drop in passengers. And it looks like some low cost airlines are expanding slowly but surely.

They do not give a flying _crap about you and never will. If you ever get anything from Spirit, you can be sure it is because some others, before us have fought for it. The exception is when they make a mistake, like with the longevity pay. But since they do that a lot, it seems it is almost the norm.
