Bendo told ground school the official FAA 6 month trial began on 10 December. So sometime between now and 10 May, we will get ours. He tried but was unable to convince the FAA to shorten the test period because of previous tough book use.

I doubt that anyone would be that stupid, I also doubt that anyone that stupid is from the (pre-2010) era, I also doubt that is some anti-union clown trying to raise hell.

There is a guide that went out to instructors on basic set up but I don't know of anymore than that. It shows you how to load the Jepps, foreflight and add your company email.

There's also a "10 hour use requirement" before being self-certified on it, but I think that'll come during the evaluation phase and then for everyone after instructors.
